The guild is open to working Filipino freelance journalists. Applicants must show active, independent practice in print, digital, or broadcast journalism. The membership committee verifies every application before membership is granted.
Three stages
How verification works
Applicants move through three stages. Each step is reviewed by peers, so trust is built inside the guild rather than imposed from outside.
Stage one
Apply
Submit a portfolio of your published or broadcast work, an endorsement from an FFJ member in good standing, and a completed application form.
Stage two
Committee review
The membership committee reviews your application and verifies your work, your endorsement, and your independent practice.
Stage three
Membership confirmation
Once the committee approves your application, it confirms your membership.
