Three stages
How verification works
Applicants move through three stages. Each step is reviewed by peers, so trust is built inside the guild rather than imposed from outside.
Stage one
Prepare your portfolio
Assemble a clip portfolio of published or broadcast work that shows your independent practice.
Stage two
Peer review
Fellow members assess your clips against the guild's transparent criteria, which bar commercial retainers and institutional conflicts of interest.
Stage three
Intake confirmation
Once review is complete, the admissions committee confirms your intake and your membership begins.
